Description
SUSTAINABLE BIODEGRADABLE MADE IN DORSET
Indulge in a piece of home décor that is as conscious and sustainable as it is luxurious. My heritage cushion is created in Dorset on a 50 year old Ashford spinning wheel and 100+ London school of weaving loom from Dorset sheep. This is woven as a black (Zwartble sheep) and white (Portland sheep) twill pattern with a naturally dyed pink stripe in Portland yarn.
The cushion has a reused cotton back and the removable filler is a wool filled pad.
Included is free gift wrapping (request at checkout) and UK delivery. Each piece arrives with details of its production and cleaning instructions.

✨ Key Features
- British Wool: The cushion, from the front cover to the plump filling, is made from high-quality, traceable British wool, with reused cotton back and cushion filler cover.
- Naturally Dyed: The yarn is coloured using techniques first used in the Bronze age, resulting in an environmentally friendly pink feature.
- Handmade: Each cover front is individually handwoven on a loom, giving it a unique texture and robust quality, using hand spun Dorset wool.
- Wool-Filled: Say goodbye to synthetic fillings. My cushions are plumped with pure wool stuffing, offering superior bounce, breathability, and natural resistance to dust mites.
- The Perfect Accent: The rich texture and muted, natural hues instantly add an element of rustic sophistication and luxury to any sofa, armchair, or bed.
🌍 A Commitment to Sustainability
Choosing this cushion means investing in a healthier planet and a stronger local economy:
- Biodegradable & Renewable: Wool is a completely natural, renewable resource, and the use of natural dyes ensures zero harmful chemicals enter our waterways.
- Low Carbon Footprint: By sourcing and processing the wool within Dorset, I significantly reduce the product’s carbon footprint.
- Lasting Quality: Handwoven from durable wool, this cushion is built to last for generations, resisting the fast-fashion cycle of home goods.
🏡 Styling Suggestion
